This book was just what I needed for my 2000 Miata. It has it all covered in an easy to follow manner with very good pictures and well written steps
Replaced the timing belt, water pump, all associated belts & hoses, spark-plugs, oil & filter, crank sensor, coil packs on my oler son’s 2001 Miata. The Chilton’s book provided my younger son and myself insight to any questions we had as I spent the week-end working through the tasks at hand. Chliton provided needed bolt tightening torques, suggested removal sequences, system capacity information. The Chilton’s book is always a handy reference to have – and the batteries never go dead.
I don’t recommend this book. Not for 2003 models at least. On more than one issue, it says to refer to a certain section, but the information isn’t there. Or very incorrect.
This is a great book. I use it more than any other Miata book I have and I have alot of books. Good instruction and pictures.
While I like the product, I was a little disappointed in that, the specific portion of the car I had questions about (drain plugs), was not addressed at all.
easy to read, great pictures and/or illustrations…been able to solve what few problems I’ve had with my Miata, very pleased!
Some pictures used in the manual were not from Miata. Some times it is quite misleading. But still a good source of information
This book is useful for giving you a general idea of what you are going to be doing, but it lacks detail if you are a novice, as I am. I piece this together with info from posts online before starting a job.
