Very Nice Wire Bound Product To Keep Track Of All Your Auto Expenses. Fits In Glove Box. Has Pages for Gas & Oil Expenses, Tire Expenses, Trip Diary, Phone Numbers & Address, Memo Section. Best Product I Have Found To Date To Keep Track Of Auto Expenses.
Love the size and quality of the book but my only big complaint is that it should have twice as many pages for logging fuel usage (and mentioned by other reviews). Most of the other pages in the book I won’t use and would trade them for fuel log pages. After all, most of us will have many many more fuel entires than oil changes or new tires or repairs. I’m betting the At A Glance folks did this to make use purchase more log books
The biggest reason this product is the best for its purpose is that it’s not designed for the traveling business person, whose needs are specific day-to-day recording of every expense. For most people, that format is a complete waste. this format, however, is nice and compact. You enter the dates of fuel or service, rather than them being pre-entered, calendar-like, and so you fill up the book one line at a time, taking weeks, or even months, to fill a page. It tracks the necessary information, and even has a handy chart to let you estimate your gas mileage. It’s small, fitting nicely in a glovebox. It’s sturdy, with a thick plastic cover and a strong spiral binding. The only drawback to this product is that it is typically not available in many bog-box office supply stores (probably because it doesn’t need to be replaced as often as other auto logs, and so sales aren’t as robust), so you’re almost forced to buy it online–which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, and Amazon’s price is actually lower than list. this product is a good example of one the has no unneeded bells and whistles, but does the basics, and does them right.
Hard to find record book. Good for keeping quick reference to auto records. Space wasted in the memo section, could be much shorter and the space added to the fuel section.
