the book was in very good shape and I received long before the e.t.a. so I was happy with the service
It was the correct book, not damaged though it was used so all in all a good deal besides them leaving the sticker price on it showing that back in the day (or whenever) they bought it was for less then half we paid. That was a little upsetting but for all the use it gets it was still worth what we paid.
Great book, son in law loves it, just what he needed to do his old Ford truck, and keep it running
Should have saved the money. Chiltons has always been the worst manual available. Not sure why I went against my experience. Book was in good shape though.
This book had some good information, but it wasn’t quite what we were looking for. We needed more detailed information about the fuel system, diagrams, schematics, etc. This was very generalized information.
if you have a older ford truck pass this book up. no info worth
reading here for my 1965. example no 4×4 breakdown for the 65
hayes book is much better
way to basic. Very UN-Detailed info, don’t waste your money.
Very poor pictures, way too many truck models to be worth any thing to me.
This book was in excellent condition. It covers a lot of ground, more than the “Holt” book I purchased previously. Can’t wait to dig into this book and start finishing my old truck I just purchased. Recommend highly.
Not enough info. Dont try to work on the fuel system. Needs more info and pictures of critical parts and processes.
So I’m covered in mud and (ouch) gravel–funny how those sharp stones can really stick to your skin. Anyway, I’m trying to resurect a half-dead 1965 Ford Pick up by myself, with very few tools. I’m what I’d consider mildly mechanically competent, but with the time honored tradition of Chilton Manuals I’ve managed to work on my own cars with very good results. For older vehicles you’ll also want to get the original manual (usually not too hard to find.)Chances are if you’re looking at this book you’re already comfortable working on your own vehicle, but on the off chance that you’re a novice, consider this. Getting comfortable with working on your own vehicle and getting to know your vehicle is the best thing you can do. It saves you money in the long run and you’ll feel empowered when you gap your own spark plugs for the first time. Seriously, with this book anyone should feel comfortable taking a look under the hood of their vehicle and doing a little work.
