I have used a lot of repair manuals in my life, but this may be one of the worst ever.
It is poorly organized, completely generalized, and practically useless. The pictures are very poor quality and often don’t even show what you are trying to find out about. I tried to use this manual to do a partial rebuilt of my Blazer and finally had to go to Advance and get a manual I could make some sense of. My granddaughter could have done a better manual and pictures with her crayons!
Unless you already know everything you need to know to make a repair, don’t use this manual!!
The book does what it’s meant to do..If you’re not a mechanic i wouldn’t try the more complex tasks unless you have some kind of automotive experience, or just knowledge from working on cars..
Great manual as haynes always does. If you are a do it yourselfer or just want to learn all about your vehicle so you dont get hosed, this is the book. If you dont own alldata, this is the cheaper route and almost as good.
PRODUCT EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED, WOULD NOT KNOW IT WAS USED, 1 PAGE HAD INK BLOT, AND IT WAS A MANUAL NOT A CD
the manual could be better if they gave the size of the tool needed; example 8mm flare nut wrench.and gave better photos or diagrams, could also give more detailed trouble shooting.
A very good book to get started with. It lacks in some details and proceedure, but is worth the price.
The book was in excellant condition, we used it frequently until my grandaughter sold her Blazer. The haynes manual was exactly as offered.
So cheap, I got this manual in addition to the Chilton manual. It was in good shape and I got in less than a week. Not anywhere near the detail that you would expect from a factory manual, but it has the basics for 100 + less dollars.
God thinks: lots of hints, sensors verification with voltimeter.
Bd things: some specific hints, like how to change spark plug in V6 engines pr the proper abs module bleeding are missing.
If you own a car, you need a Haynes, Chiltons, or some other repair manual.
