This manual is as descriptive as they’ve ever been. Definitely worth the buy. I’ve always been impressed with Haynes manuals and when I needed to do work on my Corolla-Haynes was the first manual company I searched for.

I purchased this repair manual because I have a high mileage 2009 Corolla and needed to know specific information concerning proper parts replacement/maintenance procedures. This service manual is basically the 2003-2008 Corolla service manual with a few tidbits of additional data and sketches referencing the 2009-2011 year models. It seems as if the authors have not yet torn down a 2009 through 2011 Corolla. The result is very few (if any) photos of these newer model years, and many of the step-by-step instructions only directly apply to the pre-2009 models.
If Haynes comes out with a 2009 and up specific repair manual, I will get it. Until then, I will use the reference data in this manual along with my prior experience and other information sources to resolve the conflicts as I come across them.
I purchased this for a 09 corolla, as this manual states it’s for 2003-2011. This manual was more for the 1ZFE engine equiped model corolla’s from 2003 to 2008. It is missing most of the info for the DUAL VVT-i engine. If you have a 2009 or later model corolla don’t buy this book it will be a waste of money.
