Great book for reference and a ton of info. Do not Recommend using book to do full repairs your self!
This edition of Chilton’s isn’t quite as detailed or as good as the old Chilton’s but it’s better than the Haynes manual my dad was trying to use before I got him this one. This was a great price and the book came quickly and was still shrink-wrapped.
good manual good value this does the job for do it yourself guys the shipping and value are first rate are a nice bonus
like the book will not do any more reviews. elevenn words words words wrds wrds wrds wrds wrds wrds wrds
Got all the torque specs and repair info I need from this book. Chilton is great to have around. Also a great price.
It had everything we needed to know about our Taurus! We will keep it with the car in case we need to fix something else.
This manual has better step-by-step instructions that other manuals, however it does not contain anything on the SHO model. For that particular car, you’ll have to go to Ford and get the manufacturer’s shop manual published by Helms.
It met the description. I needed a repair book for my girlfriend’s ’01 Taurus for replacing the A/C compressor bearing.
I’m disappointed in the quality of this Chilton’s manual. The pictures are poor quality, hard to see detail. Also the engine in my Taurus isn’t included in this manual. Wasted money with this one.
This piece of garbage is just the nearly useless Haynes manual repackaged with the once-proud Chilton name on the cover. All the same mistakes and the same complete dearth of useful, accurate information. The title page makes this clear when you read the authorship and publishing info, but I didn’t notice any of that when purchasing. I believe that some of the reviews even said how much more useful it was than the Haynes manual – so wrong, since that is what it is.
