If you’re a self fixer upper this is worth the money I got this did some work on the car then sold it, and included the manual.

Nice repair book but not for Mazda6 owner in Europe. Here in Europe we got different Mazda6 models. But other wise the book give a good impression about Mazda6 to repair by your self.

I recently bought a 2003 Mazda 6 and really like it. However the previous owner thought to put special headlights in it, and tried to rewire the headlights. This caused lights to not work or be extremely temperamental. One of the integrated fog lights was missing all together. This is the only book to get through this wiring mess, with complete electrical diagrams!

The manual I purchased is pretty good. I purchased this manual because I was having to work on my daughters Mazda 6I. I used it to read how to replace alternator and front engine mount. the manual is pretty understandable and easy to read. After my daughter totaled the car I gave it to a coworker that also has a Mazda 6.

I used to use Motor’s manuals and in my mind they’re the gold standard. This manual is ok but not as helpful. If you’re in a complicated process, it just refers you to another chapter or section, often without a specific instruction. So you have to read another entire section just to find maybe the one step that was referred to. Also the pictures provided are somewhat grainy from being reproduced rather than using the original pics. I’ve also found one technical error on my first use of the book. I hope it doesn’t continue like that.

My daughter just purchased a Mazda 6 and her dad is her mechanic and so he thought he had better have a repair manual so I bought the one with the best customer rating.

I have owned a Haynes manual before. I ordered this book to fix the few things that were wrong with the car. It had no information about removing/replacing the headliner. There is also very limited information about the airbag system. Other than that this has all the information you need to do routine maintenance and do repairs. I have had the book less than a week and have repaired the passenger door window, dome light electrical system and repaired the headliner (which is not in the book). I have also used the book to help me access the back of the dash to install MP3 accessory and dash center console bin. Must have book for the at home mechanic.
