The manual is good, but I bought it because my Tach quit, there is NO mention of anything regarding the tachometer in the whole book.
This is great reference for tire size,fluids,mantenance procedures,troubleshooting. It has chapters on all areas and includes frequently addressed issues such as counter balancer chain (doohickey) as well as carburetor function/rebuild and ignition operation. This small investment can save you big dollars considering the costly mistakes you can make without knowledge. If you are KLR devotee this should be in your possession.
Better price than the clymer website online. book is in great condition, arrived in shrink wrapped plastic. haven’t been able to use to repair my bike yet because of time constraints.
Exactly what I needed, clear instructions and lots of pics. Good for the DIY’er looking to keep the bike out of the shop. Keep in mind, it is not a “for dummies” kind of book. But if you are willing to get dirty, and take your time, this book could be an extremely effective tool.
