I have the Yamaha Service Manual as well and this book clarifies or gives a different approach to servicing my 07 RSV. More detailed (and less typos) than the OEM Service Manual.

I started working on cars more than 30 rears ago. I bought a van that broke down on the way home from buying it. After looking at it in my driveway for a while, I bought a Clymer repair manual and took the whole engine apart because I wanted to see how it worked. I had a valve job, changed the rod bearings and adjusted various settings as I re-assembled it. It ran great after I was done. I felt like a magician! Ever since then I have had a repair manual for every vehicle I have owned since then. It’s great for saving saving money on repairs.
Manuel in new condition, although it is not for a 2007 venture, it covers everything about this bike.
If you own a motorcycle, your should own a Clymer. In fact, you should own the Clymer before you buy the bike. They should come with the bike. And if you buy a bike without one, a Clymer should magically arrive in your mail the next day.
A couple of weak spots. But much better than the pitiful factory service manual which it will suppliment nicely. So far everything still applies even though my Venture is a 2008 model. Good tips, pictures and diagrams. If you have a 1999-2009 Royal Star Venture and intend to do any work yourself buy this book. I dropped one rating star because it hasn’t been updated for seven years. But then neither has the RSV.
